Kevin Fugaro Bio
Kevin Fugaro is a New York-based actor and singer represented by David Krasner at The Mine talent agency. Fugaro was recently cast in Pecadillo Theatre Company's The Man Who Came to Dinner and Roundabout Theatre Company's The Milk Train Doesn't Stop Here Anymore. He will make his TV debut in Season 4, Episode 4 of Nurse Jackie.
Fugaro graduated with honors from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, where he received a B.A. in Theatre and a Certificate in Musical Theatre. His regional credits include The Sins of Sor Juana (Silvio u/s, Pedro u/s, Guard) at the Goodman Theatre, directed by Henry Godinez, and Twelfth Night (Valentine) and The Deceived (Virginio) at the Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival, directed by David H. Bell and Kevin Asselin. He is also a proud member of Hero Theatre of which Olympia Dukakis is Head Artistic Advisor.
While at Northwestern, Fugaro was cast in the American Music Theatre Project’s Not Wanted on the Voyage, by Neil Bartram and Brian Hill, the composer and lyricist of the Broadway production The Story of My Life. He also recorded the demo tracks Not Wanted on the Voyage with Broadway veteran Faith Prince (Billy Elliot, Guys and Dolls, The LIttle Mermaid, A Catered Affair). Other American Music Theatre Projects include: ACE by Robert Taylor and Richard Oberacker and Next Thing You Know by Joshua Salzman and Ryan Cunningham. Fugaro also played Jesus/Mitch in the Chicago Theatre Building workshop of the musical SAVED, directed by Gary Griffin (The Color Purple). In the workshop, he collabroated with composer Michael Friedman (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson) and writer Rinne Groff (Compulsion).
